The Heritage Restaurant
The Heritage Restaurant offers the perfect blend between classic, old world elegance and fresh, contemporary innovation both in décor and in cuisine.
The restaurant is airy and attired in light, warming colours. A glass bricked wall and gently lit ceiling panels provide a subtle glow to the room, while high ceilings and formal table settings are reminiscent of classical dining.
The waiting staff offer professional and pleasant service, while ensuring that you enjoy a relaxed and peaceful evening.
Head Chef, Ray McAuliffe and his team consistently deliver superb, freshly prepared dishes from the À la Carte and Table D’hôte menus, using fresh, local produce where possible.
Children’s portions and a specially designed children’s menu are both available.
The restaurant is an outstanding venue for a special celebration or corporate meal.
Quinn’s Bar
Recently renovated, Quinn’s Bar combines two different elements of design to create a bar with a much-loved hospitable tone.
Part of the bar continues the spacious, open décor of the lobby, while the second section evokes a snug, homely feeling with brick walls, rich, wooden ceiling beams and a warm, roaring fire.
Quinn’s is popular with both hotel residents and Bray locals, and you will always find an amiable mix of characters here, enjoying a pint or two!
A tasty traditional carvery is served here daily from 12.30 p.m. until 3.00 p.m. , with a wide-ranging bar menu available until 9.30 p.m. in the evenings.
Quinn’s Bar is open to welcome guests at the following times:
Monday – Thursday: 10.30 a.m. – 11.30 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: 10.30 a.m. - Midnight
Sunday: 12.00 p.m. – 11.00 p.m.
The Merrill Leisure Centre
Newly opened in January 2009, the Merrill contains all you need for an invigorating work-out, relaxing wind-down or pampering afternoon.
The gym is fully-equipped with up-to-date machines and an aerobics studio where members and guests can partake in regular classes.
There are 2 swimming pools at the leisure centre; a 14 metre swimming pool, and a smaller children’s pool. Adult and children’s swimming lessons are available.
Revel in sheer bliss of the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. Afterwards, you can lounge in the Relaxation Area.
The Beauty and Massage Clinic offer a range of luxurious facials, professional treatments, and holistic and sports massage.
There are also sun beds available.
The Merrill also has great changing facilities with individual lockers and cubicles for your privacy, and hairdryers.
Fitness and swimming accessories are available at the Merrill reception.
Family Facilities
The Royal Hotel deserves its reputation as an excellent family hotel, as all ages are made welcome here, and entertainment and relaxation is provided for all.
Crèche
The crèche offers excellent care for children from the ages of 6 to 12 years of age.
Children can enjoy games, arts and crafts, PlayStation challenges and DVD’s while at the crèche.
The first hour of crèche care is complimentary to guests using the leisure facilities. Thereafter, there is a cost of €3.50 per child, per hour.
Kids Activities and Games Room
Every evening at 6.oo p.m, a children’s movie is screened.
Also, kids can have fun in the fully supervised Games Room, which offers a pool table, air hockey table, and PlayStation.
Family Rooms
Family rooms can accommodate up to 4 people, and are fitted with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Children under the age of 3 are welcome to stay free of charge.
